This product comes from our own certified Sophora japonica planting ground and is ≥95% or ≥98% pure (HPLC). It looks like a fine, bright yellow to greenish-yellow powder. It's organic and meets the standards set by the USDA NOP and the EU. Product Introduction

Økologisk Quercetin-pulver is a flavonol derived from plants. It is chemically known as 3,3',4',5,7-pentahydroxyflavone (CAS No. 117-39-5). It is made from certified organic Sophora japonica flower buds using only ethanol and water. No artificial solvents or irradiation are employed.

The final product is a fine crystalline powder that is lipophilic and has a melting or breakdown point between 314°C and 317°C. Its bulk density is between 0.35 and 0.55 g/ml and this has a direct bearing on the fill weight planned by formulators for capsules.

It is soluble in ethanol, and in glacial acetic acid. It is nearly insoluble in cold water. This type of solubility matters when choosing a delivery system such as phytosome technology or liposome encapsulation.

Shaanxi Hongda works with SGS and Eurofins, two well-known third-party testing companies, to make sure that each production batch is safe.

The range of tests includes checking for more than 500 different herbicide residues using GC-MS/LC-MS, heavy metals using ICP-MS, nutritional labelling, natural origin reports, and specific optical rotation. Results always meet the standards set by the USDA NOP and the EU for organic farming, including less than 0.01 mg/kg for pesticides that aren't allowed.

On request, carbon-14 (C14) radiocarbon dating can be done to prove that the product comes from plants and rule out synthetic adulteration made from petrochemicals. With this level of documentation, your regulatory submissions and quality audits will be fully supported.

Q1: What makes the product different from regular quercetin?

Q5: Is it good for use with clear drinks?

A: Raw quercetin doesn't mix with water and will settle to the bottom of clear drinks. Cyclodextrin-encapsulated or nano-emulsion forms are needed, and the processing must be certified as organic in order to keep the claim.

Q6: What is the smallest amount I can buy, and is it possible to get samples?
